i3 Scholars are required to arrive in Pittsburgh for check-in on June 3, 2012. The Introductory Institute runs throughout most of June. Scholars will depart from Pittsburgh on June 28, 2012. Please note that you will check-in at once you arrive in Pittsburgh.

Flying into Pittsburgh International Airport

i3 Scholars must contact People's Travel Agency (412-621-0799) to make their flight arrangements. Once a reservation is made, People's Travel will email you an itinerary. You MUST verify the itinerary for accracy and confirm with People's Travel. Once the reservation is made and confirmed, the i3 Director will submit payment to People's Travel.

Getting from the Airport to the University of Pittsburgh (Ruskin Hall)

i3 Scholars are encouraged to take the 28X bus line. The ride to campus should take between 45 minutes and an hour. For more information about the 28X, . Taking the Bus/Train to Pittsburgh

If you take the bus or train to Pittsburgh, you will need to make your own arrangements. You will be reimbursed for your travel expenses. Please present your travel receipts to the i3 Director upon arrival. MegaBus now serves Pittsburgh, as does Greyhound and Amtrak.

Driving to Pittsburgh or Getting Dropped Off

If you would like to park a car on campus for the duration of the Institute, you must contact the i3 Director for a parking pass. Parking passes cost about $100 for the month and are NOT covered by i3.
