Dining & Meals
i3 Scholars will have most meals provided throughout the Institute. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, breakfast is served for the group. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there is no breakfast; i3 Scholars can sleep in a bit longer. Typically, two meals are provided for students each day. For additional meals, i3 Scholars can take advantage of the fantastic restaurants that Pittsburgh has to offer.
Weekends at i3 are less structured, providing i3 Scholars with free time to relax. One or two group meals are often planned at nearby restaurants or are provided by Campus Catering. i3 Scholars may also purchase food from local grocery stores and farmer's markets. Each room in Ruskin Hall is equipped with a full kitchen. On days in which a guest speaker is scheduled for a formal luncheon, i3 Scholars should be dressed in professional attire.
Vegetarian options and alternative dishes are also made available.
