Pittsburgh is an exciting, mid-sized city with lots of entertainment options and attractions. The city is located in the mountains where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers meet to form the Ohio river. The natural geography around the city provides plenty of outdoor activities for locals and tourists. Although the city's history is rooted in industry and steel mills, Pittsburgh has now been transformed into a city characterized by education and healthcare. Numerous colleges and universities are located across the city, providing Pittsburgh with a young and energetic population. The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is one of the nation's largest and most prestigious medical centers. Pittsburgh's natural beauty and highly-educated workforce combine to form one of the most livable cities in America.
